Me, seeing crawly thing on the floor in the morning, that has cats’ interest…. Ick!! What is it?

Me, texting picture of crawly thing to husband at work. Text:
“Is it a snake or a worm?

Husband: “It’s a worm. It rained, so they come out of the ground. Just sweep it up and put it outside.”

Me: “No way!”

Later that day…

Me, in bed: “I didn’t see the worm when I came home from work. Do you think it’s in bed with us?”

Husband: “No, they like the ground.”

Me: “Did you ever think you would have a conversation like this in your whole life?”
